5 Tips for a Good Night’s Sleep

We all have sleepless nights, especially when you have over a thousand different things running through your mind. I am no stranger to anxiety and when it kicks in, there is just no way I am going to fall asleep. Here are a few things that truly help me to calm down and get a good night’s sleep:

First things first, you have to have a comfortable pillow or a pillow case. This silk pillowcase is extremely soft and so good for your skin. Then, I make sure to spray my bed with this Lavender Vanilla pillow mist. I swear just this mist alone already calms my heart rate down almost immediately. Lastly, I have to turn on my Oil Diffuser, I make sure to add lots of lavender oil and leave it on throughout the night. I got mine as a gift and I absolutely love it. You can find affordable ones on Amazon or if you want to splurge on really nice ones, I linked them below! They all work great. Another general tip is to avoid caffeine before bedtime, this might be an obvious one but you could be having a hard time falling asleep if you had strong coffee in the afternoon! If all of this fails, I typically will take some Valerian Root Extract (can be found at your local Whole Foods where all the vitamins and supplements are). This is an herbal supplement that helps to relieve anxiety and helps with insomnia.
