The Broad Museum – Downtown

After a two month wait, I finally got to visit the Broad museum with Lindsay! The tickets to the Broad are completely free, however you absolutely have to reserve the tickets online. I had no idea that there is such a long wait for the tickets, but it was definitely worth it! So, if I were you, I would go to their website right now and reserve tickets for their next available date!

I got tickets for a Tuesday at 12pm, thinking that there will be no one there….I was wrong. Get tickets for earlier times and definitely for a weekday!!! They have their own parking, maximum you can pay is $22 and they accept credit cards (for Downtown LA, this is as good as it gets). Make sure to arrive a little earlier than your ticket time for one reason: THE INFINITY MIRRORED ROOM. The earlier you get in, the faster you can RUN to the separate line for the Infinity Room. When I say RUN, I mean RUN!!! The Infinity Room makes all the wait so worth it, it’s absolutely magical.

Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room

Yeah.. it seriously is magical. Since this is a separate line, entrance to this room can be sold out by around 1pm and the faster you get to it, the less you will wait. So we walked in at 12pm, and immediately went to the separate line for the Infinity room, the wait was 216 minutes. LOL. Each person is allowed to be in this room for only 45 seconds, you can go in with two people, but I wouldn’t. The 45 seconds passes by so fast, you have to make sure you get a good pic… haha!

Jeff Koons Collection

The whole museum takes about an hour to two hours to tour around (while you are on the waitlist to get in into the Infinity Room). We got out around 1:30pm and decided to grab food. The Otium is located right next to the Broad, which is so convenient to grab a delicious lunch and drinks!

This was such an amazing experience! Definitely a must see in LA ūüôā
